Disappearance

In matches, intense action often causes fencers to step out of the strip, and due to the smartphone filming angle, they might not be captured and thus disappear from the frame.

Keep Detecting

To re-track a fencer who has disappeared, the model scans the frame every 0.5 seconds to detect any re-entering fencers. If multiple fencers are detected simultaneously, the model identifies the tallest based on size parameters and continues to track them as the target fencer.

Re-entry

This process continues until a taller fencer appears. The model consistently monitors the tallest fencers in the frame to ensure that the target fencer is detected when they return to the strip and resume the match.
